Hansen’s Food Drive

The COVID-19 pandemic has hit many Canadian families hard this year. Unemployment and food insecurity are high across the country.

We have been very fortunate at Hansen’s to be part of an essential service industry that was able to keep moving through shutdowns and not suffer as many Canadian business have.

In the spirit of giving our teams at each location are collecting non-perishable food items to be donated to local food banks along with a cash donation from the company.

Grateful for our blessings,
The staff and family at Hansen’s group of Companies

Hansen’s Quarterly Charity Draw

Congratulations to Dave Dhaliwal, Vancouver Compound Operations Manager, and Kerry Rakestrow from our Auto Hauling team in Toronto, who won our double random Charity Lottery!

As our company grows, it becomes increasingly important to give back to our communities. With this in mind, in 2014 we started an employee lottery. All of our employees with more than one year of service are entered into a quarterly draw. The draw is completely random and not at all performance based. The winner chooses a registered charity or organization that is important to them, and Hansen’s supports this with a $2500.00 donation.

As a lover of all animals, Kerry has asked us to support the great work provided by the Humane Society of Durham Region.

Daves donation has gone to the BC Cancer Clinic where his wife Sandy is currently undergoing treatments in her fight against breast cancer.
