Hansen’s Quarterly Charity Draw

Congratulations to Dave Dhaliwal, Vancouver Compound Operations Manager, and Kerry Rakestrow from our Auto Hauling team in Toronto, who won our double random Charity Lottery!

As our company grows, it becomes increasingly important to give back to our communities. With this in mind, in 2014 we started an employee lottery. All of our employees with more than one year of service are entered into a quarterly draw. The draw is completely random and not at all performance based. The winner chooses a registered charity or organization that is important to them, and Hansen’s supports this with a $2500.00 donation.

As a lover of all animals, Kerry has asked us to support the great work provided by the Humane Society of Durham Region.

Daves donation has gone to the BC Cancer Clinic where his wife Sandy is currently undergoing treatments in her fight against breast cancer.

Congratulations to Vadzim Yatsevich, Montreal based Auto handler, who won the random Charity Lottery this quarter!

Like so many of us, Vadzim has family affected by heart disease.  He has asked us to send the donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

9 in 10 Canadians have at least one risk factor for heart disease and stroke.  The Heart and Stroke Foundation not only supports research, but education programs to support better nutrition and exercise programs, immediate treatment as well as improved recovery.

Hansen’s Gives Back

Congratulations to Ken Wood, one of our Winnipeg based Car Carrier owner/operators.  Ken won the random Charity Lottery this quarter!  He has requested that the $2500.00 be donated to the Alberta Children’s Hospital in Calgary.  Although fortunate to have never needed their services, Ken hopes this donation will help children and families who do.
